Gerald has maintained a private studio of his own in Clifton, Virginia, since 1972. Working in oils and watercolors in an impressionistic style, Gerald is particularly concerned with depicting the effect of light on his landscape and maritime subjects while retaining his freshness of color and expressive brushwork.
