Barbara started drawing and painting at a very early age. Her parents were both
artistic along with her grand-mother, who was a sculptor. Barbara is basically a
self taught artist. Educating herself with painters she felt she could learn the
most from. Her education in illustration taught her discipline and how to use
her time most effi-ciently. Drafting was one of the most important tools she
learned. As a result she learned to take risks and try new avenues, confident in
her skills.
